Below is the information you will need to register your girls team with the AAU.

Once you have your girls and coaches selected then you are well on your way to becoming a member of the AAU.

1. Purchase a Club Membership.  If you only want to participate in AAU events and not host a tournament this year then you will need to purchase a Club Level 1 membership.  The cost is $30.  There are a total of three levels you may choose from when signing up.

2. Purchase Athlete Memberships.  The cost of a membership is $12 per girl, however, we do have an AB (added benefit) Card that can be used if you participate in non-AAU sanctioned events.  The cost of the AB Card is $14.  For more information on the Added Benefit Membership click here - https://secure.aausports.org/aaustore/register/AddedBenefit.htm

3. Purchase Non-Athlete Memberships.  The cost of a membership is $14 per non-athlete or $16 for the AB Card.  This card is for your bench personnel.

5. After you have completed these steps then your team is ready to participate in AAU Events.  You can find a list of events at http://aaugirlsbasketball.org/Event/FindAnEvent.aspx . Find the relevant Regional tournament for your grade and opt in as a participant.

6. Make sure that your roster is considered complete by the NC registration deadline. (this is the roster that will be utilized for competition (no changes allowed after deadline). See the below link for deadlines: http://www.ncaaugirlsbasketball.org/tournaments.html

7. Complete online registration form and payment on the NC AAU Girls Basketball website
